The Challenge

Physicians are under increasing pressure to demonstrate improved value to consumers.  As reimbursement decreases and costs increase, medical practices struggle to remain viable.  Physician organizations seek to provide services to their members while staying within the guidelines outlined by the US Dept. of Justice and the FTC.

Existing federal and various state government initiatives allow financial support for providers implementing EMR systems. Higher Medicare reimbursements, along with other benefits, can be expected by  those practices with EMR systems.

The challenge to health care providers is to take full advantage of a future that rewards those providers that deliver high-value healthcare services while using sophisticated EMR systems.
